Assignment Criteria
We were to create a policy and procedures manual for The First Ward House, a local restaurant and bar.
Audience
Our audience for this project was the owner of the business and their employees.
My Contribution
There were four of us assigned to this project and we all agreed from the start that we would do equal parts in the project and make all major decisions together. We nominated one person to be the secretary who was responsible for documenting meetings, emailing the notes to the group or the professor and typing the document. I knew the owner and was the mediator between him and the group. I was responsible for setting up meetings and relaying messages between the group and the owner. Everything else we did as a group. Equally – we all did research and made contributions on different parts of the document.

Reworking of Publications
Looking over this document I am reminded of how great the four of us worked together as a team. Our problems existed with the owner. When we went to the establishment to meet with him or the employees, they were always late and sometimes they never showed up at all. In addition, this class worked up to our final project with reading and writing exercises decreasing the time that should have been invested in this project. I feel this a document is a little thin when it comes to content but, I am satisfied with this project with all things considered. |
